Award
categories

Five awards, judged on evidence. If you cannot show the control, the audit trail or the outcome, it does not place.

Global AI Governance Leader of the Year

Recognises an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in advancing AI governance, influencing strategy, embedding good practice and driving meaningful organisational change.

AI Governance Implementation Excellence Award (ISO/IEC 42001)

Recognises an individual, team or organisation that has demonstrated excellence in implementing an AI management system aligned with ISO/IEC 42001. Judging should consider practical implementation, effective controls, risk management and measurable outcomes. A first prize and runner-up could be awarded if there are sufficient high-quality nominations.

Two prizes · Awarded through the GAICC Implementation Challenge, not by nomination

Responsible AI Impact Award

Recognises an individual, team or organisation that has delivered a tangible initiative to make AI safer, fairer, more transparent, accountable or beneficial to society. The focus is on demonstrable impact, rather than simply having policies or frameworks in place.

Emerging AI Governance Professional of the Year

Recognises a promising early-career professional or emerging practitioner who has demonstrated initiative, commitment and achievement in AI governance. Open to GAICC students, certification holders and the broader community.

Global AI Governance Thought Leader Award

Recognises an individual whose research, writing, speaking or public advocacy has shaped how organisations and policymakers approach AI governance, and has moved the wider conversation towards safe, accountable and responsible AI.
