At four o'clock the lights come down and we name the organisations that got AI governance right before anybody made them. Some of them are in the room. Most of their competitors are not.

Four awards,
no shortlist theatre

Entries are judged on evidence, not on narrative. If you cannot show the control, the audit trail or the outcome, it does not place.

Governance programme of the year

An AI management system that is running, audited and survives contact with production

Assurance in the public sector

Procurement, deployment or oversight done properly under real constraints

Responsible deployment

A system shipped with the guardrails built in, not bolted on afterwards

Practitioner of the year

The individual who moved their organisation from intention to certification

Entering

Judged on evidence, not on how well you tell the story.

Entries open in the new year and close four weeks before the summit. Each entry is read by a panel drawn from certification, audit and practice, and scored against the same criteria a conformity assessment would use.

There is no public shortlist and no vote. Winners are named on the day, in the room, at 16:00.

Entry is free and open to any organisation operating in Australia, whether or not anybody from it is attending.
